Downtown Odessa, Inc. celebrated the 27th annual Parade of Lights on Saturday.
Winners of the Parade of Lights were announced on Monday morning.
There were more than 126 organizations registered for the parade which concluded more than 300 vehicle entries. This was the largest parade to date.
Odessa American media partner CBS7 provided a live broadcast on their news station, app, and Facebook live stream. The Facebook live stream was reported to have 10,000 viewers alone.
Awards will be presented to each organization at 6 p.m. Dec. 13 at the City Council Meeting. This will take place at City Hall, 411 W. 8th Street, on the 5th floor in the City
Council Chambers.
Downtown Odessa, Inc. would like to thank the City of Odessa and their many departments that helped to make this event a success, as well as Odessa College and ECISD who played a tremendous role in this event.
