Companies looking to hire current students and recent graduates will have an excellent opportunity to tap into that pool of candidates at the Odessa College Community Job Fair on Tuesday, April 25.
The fair will be held at the Odessa College Sports Center from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and employers will be admitted at 4:30 p.m. to start setting up for the event.
“The College will host 40 companies at the event, and the deadline to register for a booth is Friday, April 14. Any company interested in participating can contact me at [email protected] for information or other inquiries. Our booths are filling up quickly, so I encourage everyone to contact me as soon as possible,” Executive Director of Student Learning Resources Mireya Jacuinde said in a news release.
Jacuinde added that priority will be given to industry-specific companies such as health care, education, energy, visual and performing arts, automotive, and others.
Registration for nonprofit entities will be $100 and for-profit businesses will be $150. The fee includes a booth reservation with one table and two chairs, on-the-spot interview stations, and professional headshots at the event. Snacks also will be available for attending company representatives.
