Tuesday night from 6-8 p.m., millions of Americans will take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities. Odessa normally averages a couple dozen locations each year. The Odessa Police Department, Odessa Fire Rescue, City of Odessa Dispatch, Code Enforcement, and Citizens on Patrol will all be participating at all of the locations tonight. The locations listed below have agreed to allow the media or general public attend their block parties:
Chapel Hill Baptist Church Parking Lot (1800 Block of East 51st Street), Bethany Christian Church (4522 North Everglade), Appleridge Apartments (2600 Santa Cruz Ln.), First Presbyterian Church (1401 N. Sam Houston), Iglesia De Amor Church (1609 W. 10th St.), the 1300 block of East 43rd St., the 3600 block of Springbrook Dr., the 4200 block of Candy Lane, the 1600 block of Englewood Lane, and the 6300 block of Mecca.
