A 63-year-old Lamesa motorcyclist was killed Tuesday night in Dawson County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a preliminary investigation revealed Roy Lawrence Dickerman was traveling north on FM 839 when he failed to negotiate an S curve and veered into the west barrow ditch. Dickerman then overcorrected, causing his Harley Davidson to roll multiple times.
Dickerman died at the scene of the crash, five miles north of Patricia.
