A 22-year-old Midland man was killed early Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle wreck just east of Midland.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 35-year-old man from Houston failed to yield the right of way to David Contreras while making a right-hand turn into a private drive from northbound FM 1208 in a tractor-trailer.
Contreras struck the tractor-trailer and was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was not hurt.
