Midland College to host Mars Rover talk

Midland College will host ‘Into the Unknown: How Leadership, Ingenuity and Perseverance Put a Rover on Mars’ at 7 p.m. Thursday in Al G. Langford Chaparral Center on the main Midland College campus.

This installment of the Davidson Distinguished Lecture Series will feature aspiring rock star turned rocket scientist Adam Steltzner and real life “Guardian of the Galaxy” Dr. Moogega “Moo” Cooper .

Steltzner is the chief engineer of the Mars Perseverance Rover Project, and Cooper is the planetary protection lead of the project.
