A press release detailed that Medical Center Health System is recognizing the financial support of donations made by Panda Express through its philanthropic arm, Panda Cares, to young patients in the Permian Basin.
On this year’s Panda Cares Day, Panda Express is reportedly inviting customers to donate to Children’s Miracle Network while dining in-store or by ordering online.
Additionally, MCHS is excited to recognize Panda for the $350,000 in donations made since 2012 that will continue to help in our community and transform how we meet the most urgent needs, save more lives and protect our collective future, the press release stated. The Panda Center of Hope Pediatric playroom at MCHS debuted in 2020 in recognition of Panda Express’ past and future fundraising. Panda Express has agreed to fundraise $500,000 over the next five years for CMN at MCHS.
Donations reportedly collected year-round at local Panda Express locations directly benefit the sick and injured children treated at MCHS. Funds are used to pay for equipment, research, supplies, charitable care, and a variety of other needs for the Pediatric and NICU units.
