Man charged with sexually assaulting girl for 2 years

An 11-year-old girl reportedly told the Odessa Police Department that she had been sexually assaulted by her mother’s ex-boyfriend for two years.

Jeremy Daniel Villanueva, 30, was charged with continuous sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony.

The reported sexual abuse happened from 2018 to 2019 when the 11-year-old girl was 7 to 9 years old, the OPD probable cause affidavit detailed.

A forensic interview was reportedly conducted with the 11-year-old on June 17. During the interview, the girl detailed multiple incidents of being forcefully sexually assaulted by Villanueva.

The girl reportedly detailed on one occasion that while she slept with Villanueva and her mother that Villanueva touched her inappropriately.

Villanueva had one bond totaling $60,000 and posted bail on Wednesday, jail records show.
