LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Are there any limits to stupidity?

I have to wonder if there are any limits to stupidity? Consider the following.

In January of 2021, when Biden took office, the average price of gas in the U.S. was around $2.20 per gallon, and about $1.89 per gallon here in Odessa. The inflation rate was 1.4%. Unemployment was at record lows, and Black unemployment was at its lowest rate in history. The border was fairly well controlled; much better than it is now. The U.S. was respected by most other countries, and Trump had a plan for an orderly withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Now, not even a full two years later, the Biden administration has managed to increase gas prices by about 2 times; and even higher in California. Biden totally screwed up getting out of Afghanistan, resulting in many deaths of Afghanis who had worked with the U.S., and leaving several hundred American citizens stranded in the country, as well as leaving $800 million dollars worth of weapons and vehicles for the Taliban to use.

Biden himself is senile; his vice-president is dumber than a sack of hair; his transportation secretary has no experience in transportation; the assistant secretary of health is a fake woman; his press secretary is an excellent dancer, she dances around every question she is asked without answering any of them; the Attorney General is openly and unashamedly anti-conservative; and the FBI, which used to fight organized crime, now IS organized crime!

According to most of the polls, Biden’s approval rate hovers somewhere around thirty percent, which means that one-third of the people surveyed still support Biden.

This brings me back to my original question: Are there any limits to stupidity? Obviously not!

Thanks,

Sandy Milner
