Two teenagers from Kermit were killed in Winkler County Sunday in a two-vehicle crash.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 47-year-old Odessa man was driving a tractor-trailer west on FM 874 around 1 p.m. when he disregarded the stop sign at State Highway 18 and a Chevrolet Silverado collided with him.
The driver of the Chevy, Noel Ezequiel Rodriguez, 18, and his passenger, Andrea Katelyn Burkhalter, also 18, were pronounced dead at the scene, DPS stated.
The Odessa man was taken to Winkler County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
