Ector County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Mike Lopez with patrol shift 3 was recently promoted to shift 4 lieutenant.

NEW ASSISTANT CHIEF

Matt Muehlbrad is the new assistant chief at The University of Texas Permian Basin. He previously was the lieutenant for the Ector County Sheriff’s Office, where he worked for 20 years.

GRADUATE

LAMONI, IOWA Stazie A. Church of Stanton graduated with a Master of Arts in Religion (Religion) from Graceland University during the fall semester.

PRESIDENT’S LIST

BANGOR, MAINE Grace Emig of Seminole has been named to Husson University’s President’s List for the fall semester.

Emig was enrolled in Husson’s Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science/Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Students who make the President’s List must be enrolled as an undergraduate student, carry a full-time load of 12 credit hours, complete all attempted courses in the time allotted for the semester, and achieve a 3.80 to 4.0 semester grade-point average. Credits from pass/fail classes do not qualify toward meeting the minimum credit hour requirement.
