Country crooner featured at Rolling 7’s

Partial proceeds from concerts this summer at the Rolling 7’s Event Center will help Honor Our Troops while providing another local concert venue.

Jake Worthington, who was a “The Voice” finalist, is scheduled June 27.

In 2014, Worthington was named runner up on season six of the hit NBC TV Show “The Voice”. While on the show he released three songs that reached the top 20 on Billboard. Success from “The Voice” led to a Social Media presence that reaches nearly 250,000 people across the United States, his website, thejakeworthington.com, stated.

Since his success on “The Voice” he’s stayed busy touring and creating new music.

In October 2015 he released his first EP debuting at No. 16 Billboard Heat Seekers and No. 44 Billboard Country Albums. The first single off the EP “Just Keep Falling In Love” reached Top 50 on The Music Row Chart and Top 30 on The Texas Regional Radio Report. The music video was featured on GAC, CMT and other outlets.

In the summer of 2016, he released his follow-up single “How Do You Honky Tonk” and hit the road on the “How Do You Honky Tonk” Summer Tour sponsored by Amspec, Cinch Jeans and Ernie Ball. The tour featured 26 stops in 16 states.

His most recent release, his sophomore EP, features the No. 1 single “A Lot of Room to Talk”. The EP debuted Top 10 on iTunes Country Albums Charts.

Worthington during 2017 performed 100 times in 25 states and at more than 25 county and state fairs. He also performed last year at Country Fest in Cadott, Wisc., and on the Texas Country Music Cruise.
