The Ector County Elections Office issued a public service announcement on Wednesday that details to be eligible to vote in the General, City of Odessa and The Ector County Utility District Election on Nov. 8 that a person must be a registered voter.
If a person is not a registered voter or if they need to update their address with the voter registrar, they have until Oct. 11 to do so in person, or application must be postmarked Oct. 11.
They may also submit an application on-line with the Secretary of State through the following website. The website is sos.state.tx.us
The elections office asked if a person is unsure of your voting status to call at 432-498- 4030.
