An 87-year-old woman died Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Midland.
According to the City of Midland, a Toyota minivan collided with a Mercedes when the 67-year-old minivan driver attempted to turn onto the 1100 block of East Gist Street from South Lamesa Road shortly before 1 p.m. Monday.
A passenger in the minivan, Sally Garcia, died from her injuries, and both drivers were taken to the hospital.
An investigation is ongoing.
