Undergraduate Research Day coming up

UT Permian Basin’s Undergraduate Research Day is all day April 14 in the Library lobby and Library Lecture Hall.

Several UTPB students will come together to present their research projects to their peers, faculty, and community members. This year projects include everything from 3D printing, to ALS disease models, and even doll making, an article on the UTPB website detailed.

“I encourage all students to get involved with research if they are serious about their education. Students can learn from reading about research in a textbook, hearing professors talk about it, or they can actually do it! If a student feels like they are somehow not qualified to do research I want to empower and encourage them that they are qualified and their research topic can be anything from popular culture to traditional academic subjects,” Rebecca Babcock, Director of Undergraduate Research at UTPB, said in the press release.

Students interested in getting involved with undergraduate research can email Babcock and follow UTPB Undergraduate Research on social media.
