The Ector County ISD Board of Trustees will consider hiring five principals and an executive director of student and school support during their 6 p.m. meeting Tuesday in the first floor board room of the administration building, 802 N. Sam Houston Ave.
Campuses in line for new chiefs include Cameron Elementary, Carver Early Education Center, Ireland, Pease and San Jacinto elementary schools.
An executive director of school and student support also is on the agenda.
The work session will also include:
>> A request approval of a memorandum of understanding which sets forth the terms and understanding between the ConnEctor Task Force, a collaboration of organizations and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, together with its consultant, Magellan Advisors.
The Dallas Fed’s Digital Inclusion initiative is designed to provide technical assistance and leadership support, to communities working to address their digital divide, supplemental agenda material said.
>> A budget update discussion; the proposed budget; tax rate; and other budget and tax rate related items.
>> End of year assessment data.
>> Local policy updates.
>> A legislative update.
>> And reorganization of the board.
