ECTOR COUNTY FELONY DISPOSITIONS: March 21, 2022

The following is a list of felony dispositions from the Ector County District Clerk’s Office. Listed attorneys do not necessarily represent who was involved when the case was disposed. The prosecuting attorney was not listed unless otherwise stated.

ASSAULT

Andres N. Tercero, 40, pleaded guilty March 7 to assault public servant and was sentenced to three years in prison. Judge James Rush approved the deal.

Elias Corrales Quintana, 53, had an aggravated assault with deadly weapon (F2) charge dismissed March 9. Judge Tryon D. Lewis presided. Phillip Wildman Jr. was the attorney.

Gary Don Miller, 49, had an assault family/household member previous conviction charge dismissed March 9. Judge Denn Whalen presided.

Ricky Loya Ramos, 49, pleaded guilty March 7 to aggravated assault with deadly weapon and was sentenced to six years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal.

Roland James Rico, 36, pleaded guilty March 9 to aggravated assault with deadly weapon and was sentenced to six years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Justin Low approved the deal.

Russell Lynn Hutson, 49, had an aggravated assault with deadly weapon charge dismissed March 7. Judge Tryon D. Lewis presided.

BAIL JUMPING

Rene Flores Ramos, 48, had a bail jumping and fail to appear felony charge dismissed March 10. Judge James Rush presided.

BURGLARY

Abigail April Marmolejo, 23, pleaded guilty March 8 to burglary of habitation and was sentenced to eight years in prison in an order adjudicating guilt. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal.

Alex Lane Oglesby, 20, pleaded guilty March 9 to burglary of habitation and was sentenced to 10 years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal. Scott Layh was the attorney.

CONTINUOUS VIOLENCE

Justonn Khyle Scott, 34, pleaded guilty March 9 to continuous violence against the family (FV) and was sentenced to four years in prison. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal.

CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD ABUSE

Tiffany Michelle Overby, 33, pleaded guilty March 8 to two counts of credit card abuse and was sentenced to nine months in state jail. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal.

DEADLY CONDUCT DISCHARGE FIREARM

Andres N. Tercero, 40, pleaded guilty March 7 to deadly conduct discharge firearm and was sentenced to three years in prison. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal.

DWI

Enrique Mendoza Rodriguez, 54, pleaded guilty March 7 to driving while intoxicated third or more and was sentenced to five years probation and eight years in prison. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal. Matthew Pospisil was the attorney.

Guadalupe Y Galindo, 36, pleaded guilty March 10 to driving while intoxicated with child under 15 years of age and was sentenced to three years probation and two years in state jail. Judge Justin Low approved the deal.

Jose Alfredo Jimenez, 53, pleaded guilty March 9 to driving while intoxicated, third or more, and was sentenced to five years probation and five years in prison. Judge Justin Low approved the deal.

Michael Forrest Baker, 53, pleaded guilty March 15 to driving while Intoxicated third or more and sentenced to five years in probation and 10 years in prison (suspended). Judge Justin Low approved the deal.

Reeda Lea Castillo, 54, pleaded guilty March 8 to driving while intoxicated third or more (F3) and was sentenced to six years in prison. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal.

Timothy Scott Behnken, 49, pleaded guilty March 9 to driving while intoxicated, third or more, and was sentenced to four years in prison. Judge Justin Low approved the deal.

EVADING ARREST

Alex Reyna, 26, had an evading arrest detain with vehicle charge dismissed March 8. Judge Denn Whalen presided. Phillip Wildman Jr. was the attorney.

Justin Jerome Urias, 36, pleaded guilty March 15 to evading arrest detain with vehicle and was sentenced to five years probation and five years in prison (suspended). Judge Justin Low approved the deal.

FAIL TO COMPLY

David Burges, 59, had a fail to comply with registration requirements charge dismissed Feb. 23. Judge Denn Whalen presided.

FRAUD

Josie Garcia Fierro, 41, pleaded guilty March 9 to fraud use/detain with previous identifying info # items, less than five, and was sentenced to two years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge James Rush approved the deal.

Ronald D. Dyes, II, 44, had a fraud use/detain with previous identifying info # items 10, less than 50, charge dismissed Feb. 23. Judge Denn Whalen presided. Robert V. Garcia was the attorney.

MANUFACTURE DELIVERY

Eric Edwin Gonzales, 39, pleaded guilty March 10 to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance, more than four grams, but less than 400 grams, analogue and was sentenced to five years in prison. Judge James Rush approved the deal.

Holten Cole Parker, 23, pleaded guilty March 2 to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance, more than one gram, but less than four grams, and was sentenced to six years in prison in an order adjudicating guilt. Judge James Rush approved the deal. Phillip Wildman Jr. was the attorney.

MURDER

Misael Marquez Hernandez, 33, pleaded guilty March 11 to murder and was sentenced to 60 years in prison. Judge Jay Gibson approved the deal.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Ashley Nicole Martin, 22, had a possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, charge dismissed March 8. Judge Justin Low presided.

Dillon Landers, 29, pleaded guilty March 9 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to 350 days in state jail. Judge Justin Low approved the deal.

Donavan Ray Rangel, 24, had a possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, (SJF) charge dismissed March 10. Judge John Shrode presided.

Hannah Kristen Powers, 35, pleaded guilty March 9 to possession of a controlled substance, more than one gram, but less than four grams, and was sentenced to three years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal.

Jacob Wysong, 39, pleaded guilty Feb. 25 to possession of a controlled substance, more than four grams, but less than 200 grams, (F2) and was sentenced to 10 years in prison in an order adjudicating guilt. Judge John W. Smith approved the deal.

Karla Cardenas Contreras, 28, pleaded guilty March 10 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to four years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Justin Low approved the deal.

Lauren Nicole Stevens, 35, had possession of a controlled substance, more than four grams, but less than 200 grams, charge dismissed March 7. Judge Denn Whalen presided.

Jomanuel Gonzales, 31, pleaded guilty March 9 to aggravated robbery and was sentenced to 10 years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Justin Low approved the deal.

SEXUAL ASSAULT

THEFT

Aldan Andrew Sarabia, 19, had a theft of firearm (SJF) charge dismissed Feb. 23. Judge Denn Whalen presided.

Nathaniel Jonathan Pillai, 32, pleaded guilty March 10 to theft and was sentenced to three years probation and two years in state jail. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal.

Robert Montoya Balderama, 40, pleaded guilty March 10 to theft – aggregated and was sentenced to two years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal.

Shari Lynn Morton, 48, pleaded guilty March 10 to theft property, more than $2,500, but less than $30,000 (SJF) and was sentenced to three years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Justin Low approved the deal.
