A 40-year-old Early man was killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Midland County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Jared Nowell was driving west on East County Road 160 in a Chevrolet Silverado and a 52-year-old Hutton man was driving north on FM 1379 in a tractor-trailer around 6:20 a.m. Wednesday.
The stop sign for the westbound lane of ECR 160 was facing sideways when Nowell entered the intersection and hit the tractor-trailer, DPS stated.
Nowell was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
