MIDLAND The Midland Police Department detailed a 35-year-old Dallas man, identified as Carlos Reyes, died in a single-vehicle rollover at 6:30 a.m. Thursday on State Highway 191.
The white 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 was eastbound on Highway 191 in the inside lane. The vehicle entered a side skid, crossed the outside lane into the center median, and rolled, a news release said.
Reyes, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene, the release said. Speed and impairment are believed to be contributing factors to the crash.
The next of kin has been notified.
