Police charged a man Wednesday after he reportedly sexually assaulted a 21-year-old woman in north Odessa.
The sexual assault was first reported to the Odessa Police Department last September, an OPD news release stated. A 21-year-old woman was reportedly sexually assaulted by 38-year-old Tomas Andrew Montez, the release detailed.
OPD obtained a warrant for Montez and charged him with sexual assault, a second-degree felony.
Jail records show Montez was taken to the Ector County Detention Center Wednesday and released Thursday on a $50,000 bond.
