ECTOR COUNTY FELONY INDICTMENTS: March 5, 2018

The following is a list of felony indictments by an Ector County grand jury on March 5, 2018. The list does not include those who have yet to be arrested.

ABANDONING/ENDANGERING CHILD

  • Jose Alfredo Heredia Jr., 41, was indicted on a charge of abandoning and endangering a child with criminal negligence, a state jail felony.
  • Beverly Patricia Heredia, 44, was indicted on a charge of abandoning and endangering a child under circumstances that would place the child in imminent danger of bodily injury, a state jail felony.

ARSON

  • Raymond Magania Fresquez, 48, was indicted on a charge of arson, a second-degree felony.

ASSAULT

  • Hector Cruz Garcia, 37, was indicted on five counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, all of which are second-degree felonies.
  • Jacobi Montavius Owens, 20, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (family violence), a second-degree felony.
  • Misty Dawn Capps, 27, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.
  • William James Pogue, 53, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED

  • Arturo Reyes, 54, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • James G. Talamantes, 40, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Juan Mireles Munoz, 56, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Matthew David Contreras, 25, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Abraham Palacios Urquidi, 29, was indicted on charges of driving while intoxicated and evading arrest with a vehicle, both of which are third-degree felonies.
  • Andy Joe Babb, 38, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Erik Gonzales Lizalde, 44, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Saints D. Infante, 41, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.

DWI WITH CHILD PASSENGER

  • Auden Baeza, 44, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age, a state jail felony.
  • Juan Caballero Dominguez, 43, was indicted on charges of driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, both of which are state jail felonies.
  • Pamela Ann Fleming, 53, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age, a state jail felony.
  • Allen Thompson, 29, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age, a state jail felony.

EVADING ARREST

  • Hiram James Demler, 29, was indicted on charges of evading arrest with a vehicle and escape while arrested or confined, both of which are third-degree felonies; and unauthorized use of a vehicle, a state jail felony.
  • Nickolas Devon Villanueva, 20, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
  • Richard Wade Edwards, 28, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
  • Ja’Varris Edward Cooke, 28, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a previous conviction, a state jail felony.

INJURY TO CHILD

  • Matthew Christ Furstenberg, 27, was indicted on a charge of injury to a child, a first-degree felony.
  • Abigail Garcia, 25, was indicted on a charge of recklessly causing bodily injury to a child, a state-jail felony.

MANUFACTURE/DELIVERY OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  • Damian Lewis Tavarez, 19, was indicted on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, a second-degree felony.
  • Monica Gonzalez, 34, was indicted on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, a second-degree felony.
  • Tara S. Bearden, 32, was indicted on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a first-degree felony.
  • Vale Reyes Contreras Jr., 33, was indicted on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a first-degree felony.
  • Howard G. Harris, 36, was indicted on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, 400 grams or more, a first-degree felony.

MURDER

  • Kevin Lee Roberts, 23, was indicted on a charge of capital murder, a first-degree felony.

ORGANIZED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY

  • Lysbeth Eleanor Ellis, 33, was indicted on charges of engaging in organized criminal activity, a third-degree felony; and theft of property, $2,500 or more but less than $30,000, a state jail felony.
  • Joe Michael Ortiz, 33, was indicted on a charge of engaging in organized criminal activity, a third-degree felony; and 14 counts of burglary of a building, all of which are state jail felonies.
  • Michael Robert Sherman, 45, was indicted on a charge of engaging in organized criminal activity, a third-degree felony.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  • Yomar Lujan Mora, 21, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than 20 abuse units (analogue), a state jail felony.
  • Andy William Taylor, 31, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Yonald Finque Jeffery, 31, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Tyriank’shon Johnson, 20, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Karen Canava Cortez, 40, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Abel Mario Ramos, 45, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Jose Enrique Mata, 20, was indicted on three counts of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, all of which are state jail felonies.
  • Ashley Cruz, 22, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Wendy L. Freels, 39, was indicted on three counts of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, all of which are state jail felonies.
  • Jose Armando Carrasco, 22, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Derek Wayne Bradley, 27, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.

  • Edward Darnell Allen, 41, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Michelle Denise Flores, 49, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, a third-degree felony.
  • Natalie Delgado Macias, 20, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a second-degree felony.

ROBBERY

  • Juan Pablo Ortega, 22, was indicted on charges of robbery, a second-degree felony; and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony.

SEXUAL ASSAULT OF CHILD

  • Kevin Michael Ramirez, 23, was indicted on two counts of sexual assault of a child, both of which are second-degree felonies.

TAMPER/FABRICATE PHYSICAL EVIDENCE

  • Oscar Nathan Garay, 21, was indicted on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony.
  • Alfredo Junior Garcia, 21, was indicted on charges of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Melissa Delgadillo Garcia, 47, was indicted on charges of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Eugene Daijaion Bell, 29, was indicted on charges of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.

THEFT

  • Guadalupe Castillega Jr., 40, was indicted on a charge of theft, a state jail felony.
  • Melecia Ann Stegal, 50, was indicted on charges of theft of property, less than $2,500, with two or more previous convictions; and credit card abuse, both of which are state jail felonies.
  • Ivan Rodriguez, 21, was indicted on a charge of theft of a firearm, a state jail felony.
  • Jason Lance Gordon, 40, was indicted on a charge of theft of a firearm, a state jail felony.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE

  • Christopher Lee McCarty, 30, was indicted on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle, a state jail felony.
  • David Lynn Dow, 34, was indicted on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle, a state jail felony.
  • Jose Angel Galindo, 25, was indicted on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle, a state jail felony.
