The following is a list of felony indictments by an Ector County grand jury on April 25, 2018. The list does not include those who have yet to be arrested.
ARSON
- Ryan Alexander Becerra, 22, was indicted on a charge of arson of a habitation, a first-degree felony; and four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, all of which are second-degree felonies.
ASSAULT
- Michael B. Reyes, 35, was indicted on charges of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, a second-degree felony; and intoxication assault, a third-degree felony.
BURGLARY
- Julian Gerald Rodriguez, 27, was indicted on charges of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit a sexual offense, a first-degree felony; and sexual assault, a second-degree felony.
- Sergio Salazar, 38, was indicted on a charge of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony, a first-degree felony.
DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
- Donald Ray Herrin, 76, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
- Gabriel Gonzales Lopez, 43, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
EVADING ARREST
- Michael Edward Beseril, 34, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
FORGERY
- Nicolas Lamar Castle, 24, was indicted on a charge of forgery, a state jail felony.
- Justin Wrangler Green, 21, was indicted on a charge of forgery, a state jail felony.
ILLEGAL DUMPING
- Juan Antonio Diaz, 55, was indicted on a charge of illegal dumping, a state jail felony.
MURDER
- Michael Tarin Silvas, 35, was indicted on a charge of capital murder, a capital felony.
- Eddie Barnes, 43, was indicted on a charge of capital murder, a capital felony.
- Jennifer Nicole Rogers, 29, was indicted on a charge of capital murder, a capital felony.
- Jose Armando Ramirez, 35, was indicted on a charge of capital murder, a capital felony.
POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
- Roger Acosta Talamantez Jr., 47, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
- Agustin Vazquez-Cardona, 35, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
- Fernando Lara Gonzales, 58, was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams; and driving while intoxicated, third or more, both of which are third-degree felonies.
- Stephanie Maldonado, 22, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, a third-degree felony.
- Brenda Armida Alvarez, 23, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, a third-degree felony.
- Amy Michelle Branch, 35, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, a third-degree felony.
THEFT
- Anthony Carl Williams, 41, was indicted on two counts of theft of property, less than $2,500, with two or more previous convictions; and a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, all of which are state jail felonies.
- Esiquel Spencer, 45, was indicted on charges of theft by check and forgery of a financial instrument, both of which are state jail felonies.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF FIREARM
- Dess Heath Dabbs, 25, was indicted on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, a third-degree felony.
