The following is a list of felony indictments by an Ector County grand jury on April 16, 2018. The list does not include those who have yet to be arrested.
ASSAULT
- Michael Bryan Templeton, 40, was indicted on a charge of assault by strangulation, a third-degree felony.
- Bryan Calanche, 19, was indicted on a charge of assault on a public servant, a third-degree felony.
BURGLARY
- Marcus Angel Armendariz, 27, was indicted on a charge of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony, a first-degree felony.
- Valarie Nicole Paredez, 29, was indicted on a charge of burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony.
- Cruz Hervey Tarin, 31, was indicted on charges of burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony; unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, a third-degree felony; and theft of a firearm and four counts of burglary of a building, all of which are state jail felonies.
DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
- Isaac Hernandez, 40, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
- Juan Manuel Nunez, 53, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
EVADING ARREST
- Jamie Joe Maruska, 41, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a previous conviction, a state jail felony.
- Darrell Torino Ford, 27, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a previous conviction, a state jail felony.
- Michael Lee Griffis, 41, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
- Rick Earl Lewis, 26, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
- Adrian Leyva, 20, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
- Marc McClure, 19, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
- Jason McCullough, 45, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
- Ernest Marque Wright Jr., 33, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
- Elisa Maria Vigil, 22, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
- Antonio Reyes, 33, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
- Rudy Alexander Merimon, 19, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
- Michael Lee Carroll, 35, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
INJURY TO CHILD/ELDERLY/DISABLED PERSON
- Danielle Elizabeth Susan, 43, was indicted on a charge of injury to a child, elderly or disabled person with intent to cause bodily injury (family violence), a third-degree felony.
MANUFACTURE/DELIVERY OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
- Joseph Montez Juarez, 34, was indicted on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a first-degree felony.
POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
- Gregory Edwards Francis, 54, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
- David Salas Jr., 38, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
- Christopher Reed Chapman, 38, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, a third-degree felony.
- Martin Roberto Dominguez, 33, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a second-degree felony.
- Eduardo Beltran-Martinez, 21, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a second-degree felony.
SECURE EXECUTION OF DOCUMENT BY DECEPTION
- Adilene Amaya, 29, was indicted on a charge of secure execution of a document by deception, $2,500 or more but less than $30,000, a state jail felony.
TAMPER/FABRICATE PHYSICAL EVIDENCE
- Jordan Alise Sawyer, 27, was indicted on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, a third-degree felony.
THEFT
- Peraniece Lashawn Baker, 26, was indicted on charges of aggregated theft and fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, both of which are state jail felonies.
- Toni Ann Lemer, 53, was indicted on a charge of theft, a state jail felony.
- Amy R. Amancio, 45, was indicted on a charge of theft, a third-degree felony.
