AUSTIN Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced on Wednesday he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $1.06 billion in local sales tax allocations for October, 17.4% more than in October 2021.
These allocations are based on sales made in August by businesses that report tax monthly.
The City of Odessa’s net payment for this period is $5,721,617.33, which is an increase of 31.25% from 2021. The payment year to date is $51,962,006.14 an increase of 18.18% from 2021.
