The Contemporary Study Club of Odessa gave a donation of $500 to Jesus House on Monday. The mission of Jesus House Odessa is to fulfill Matthew 25:38-40, by tangibly improving the quality of life for the homeless and less fortunate, while empowering them for their future and advocating for their well-being. They do that by serving fresh, home cooked meals for breakfast and lunch, serving plates to as many as 80-120. They also pass out hygiene items, have a food pantry, fresh produce market, as well as transitional homes for single men, single women, and single women with children. Hours open are Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
