Two-man show set at Museum of the Southwest

Two Rhode Island natives — Christopher W. Benson and Russell Horton — who have each lived and painted for many years in the American Southwest, will be exhibiting their western landscapes at the Museum of the Southwest, 1705 W. Missouri Ave., from Oct. 26 to Feb. 4, 2024.

Benson and Horton were co-recipients in of a first place prize in a juried group show in Washington Depot, Connecticut in 2015. The awarding juror was the late Yale University professor and renowned realist painter William Bailey.

This will be the first two-man exhibition of these artists’ work.
