Santa is coming to town

Here comes Santa Claus via helicopter at Music City Mall on Saturday, November 18. This year’s festivities promise to be bigger and better than ever, offering a free event packed with activities and entertainment for the whole family.

All new this year, capture memories in the brand-new inflatable Selfie Snowglobe. For the first time this year, enjoy an exclusive sneak-peek of the Midland Festival Ballet’s “The Nutcracker.” The UTPB Choir will also be performing Christmas favorites.

It all starts at 9 a.m. in the North Parking Lot, with hot cocoa courtesy of the Chuck Wagon Gang, free bounce houses, character meet & greet, live music, 360 camera, free cookies, and a chance to meet your favorite local radio personalities from five popular stations across West Texas, including KISSFM 103.3 and Que Buena Radio.

It’s all leading up to Santa’s grand entrance via helicopter at 10:30 a.m., followed by a live skate show at 11 a.m. featuring the talented LA Roller Girls. The LA Roller Girls will also make a special appearance at MCM Rink N’ Roll at noon for paying skaters.

This year also introduces a special photo opportunity, take a selfie with Mrs. Claus! “We are thrilled to bring the community together for this joyous occasion,” said Matt Rist, Marketing Director for ICA Properties, in a news release. “With a lineup of diverse activities and performances, this year’s event promises to be a memorable celebration for families and friends alike.”
