Community Easter Egg Hunt open to all

Connection Christian Church has scheduled a free Community Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 30, at Lions Club Park, 4341 Esmond. The event is from 10:30 a.m. to noon, with the hunt itself beginning at 11 a.m. sharp.

Participating organizations are Connection Christian Church in Odessa, the Ellen Noël Art Museum, the Literacy Coalition of the Permian Basin, the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, and the Permian Basin Regional Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse.

“This Easter egg hunt offers not only candy, but also community. We hope families will feel the strength of the resources in our community surrounding them as they come together to have some fun and feel supported as they raise great kids here in the Permian Basin,” explained the Rev. Dr. Dawn Weaks, co-pastor of Connection Christian Church, in a news release.

Crafts, giveaways, photos with the Easter Bunny, family enrichment activities, and time to play with the therapy dogs will be offered in addition to the annual egg hunt.
