Basin PBS is thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated 5th Annual Main Street Live event, set to take place on Friday, May 31. This year’s event promises an unforgettable evening of outdoor music, exciting auction, and tasty drinks, all set against the vibrant backdrop of Basin PBS on Main Street in Midland.

Headlining the event will be the electrifying performance of Shane Smith and the Saints! Renowned for their hard-hitting live shows featuring a captivating blend of Americana, rock, and folk influences, Shane Smith and the Saints are set to bring their signature sound to Main Street Live and deliver a fantastic night of entertainment for all our guests that is sure to leave a lasting impression, a news release said.
“If you spend 10 years playing dive bars and small clubs almost every single night, and you go to the merch booth after every show and hang out with the fans until the staff literally kicks you out, you get to turn those fans into friends,” said Smith, who grew up in Terrell, Texas, before launching his band in Austin. “That’s how we built this thing. We’ve done as many as 240 shows in a single year. We’ve worked so hard to get there, and that hard work has created a beautiful, meaningful audience.”
In addition to the stellar musical lineup, Main Street Live will feature a variety of attractions to keep guests entertained throughout the evening. Attendees can bid on exclusive items at the auction, sample a selection of refreshing drinks courtesy of Texas Tap Co.

Early bird tickets for Main Street Live will go on sale starting Monday, April 8, at $65 until May 1. Regular advance tickets will be $75 from May 2 to May 30. Day-of and at the door, tickets will be $80, so attendees are encouraged to secure their tickets early to take advantage of savings.
