MIDLAND Deandra Allen pitched a complete-game shutout to lift the Midland High softball team past Odessa High 3-0 in both team’s District 2-6A opener on Friday at the Audrey Gill Sports Complex.
The Lady Bronchos (14-4-1 overall, 0-1 District 2-6A) finished with three hits, which included a double from Alizea Garza. Elva Castillo allowed three runs on nine hits in six innings.
For the Lady Bulldogs (14-5, 1-0), Natalie Gamboa, Reagan Keithley and Abbi Sanchez each supplied RBIs in the win.
