A ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. took place Friday at Pease Elementary.
The event was a celebration of the partnership with the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation and Permian Strategic Partnership as well as the launch of a five-year, $7.5 million investment that will provide 134 new STEM centers for every elementary school in the Permian Basin.
