1. With the first Ector County Independent School District Bond Advisory Committee meeting set for April 9, Superintendent Tom Crowe reviewed the need for a tax ratification election and bond election at a special workshop meeting Tuesday.


2. Spirits were high at the Tuesday night Ector County Hospital District Board meeting as board members received and discussed the recently downgraded Fitch rating, with eyes on improving that rating in the future.


3. A fire swept across about 150 acres in fields in northeast Odessa before it was contained and knocked down Tuesday afternoon, Odessa Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Danny Wyatt said.


4. A man was arrested on multiple felony charges early Monday, after he resisted arrest and assaulted officers, according to Odessa police.


5. IN SPORTS: Tuesday’s District 2-6A baseball and softball games involving Odessa High and Permian were postponed because of high winds and blowing dust. All games were rescheduled for today.
