WOLFFORTH The Wolfforth Frenship softball team held a one-run lead that turned into six after five-run sixth inning and the Lady Tigers used that late scoring surge to defeat Permian 7-1 in a District 2-6A contest on Friday.
Hayden Brown supplied two hits and two RBIs for Wolfforth Frenship (16-10 overall, 5-2 District 2-6A). Torrey Hogan pitched seven innings, allowed one run on five hits and struck out five.
The Lady Panthers (14-9-1, 4-3) committed six errors in the contest. Monique Pando finished a team-high two hits.
