Camron Ybarra, left, fifth grader at Dr. Lee Buice Elementary, competed against all of the fifth grade Scholars In Progress students to create the winning design, at right, for the ECISD Chess for Champs t-shirt contest for the 2017 tournament. He is a talented young artist. His SIP teacher is Johnna Rosson. The chess tournament will be held on Saturday at the gyms of UTPB.
