The Odessa High and Permian girls basketball teams enter tonight’s District 2-6A games with plenty of playoff implications on the line.
The Lady Bronchos (17-14 overall, 2-6 district) travel to Midland High (16-15, 2-6) to face the Lady Dawgs at 6 tonight. Odessa High won the first meeting 41-32 in Odessa on Jan. 11.
The Lady Panthers (12-18, 2-6) host district leader Wolfforth Frenship (27-4, 7-1) at the same time at the Permian Fieldhouse and are looking to build off the 35-28 win over Odessa High on Tuesday night.
Odessa High, Midland High and Permian are all tied for the fourth and final playoff spot in District 2-6A. If any of the three teams wins out over the last two regular season games, it will clinch that last playoff spot.
