The Lady Mustangs opened with a score of 332, with El Paso Eastwood in second on Friday at Green Tree Country Club.
Andrews’ Rachel Huffman (78) sits in sixth place in the medalist race.
Odessa High lurks in fifth place, eight shots back, while Permian is right behind the Lady Bronchos in sixth after shooting 345.
