The following is a list of felony dispositions from the Ector County District Clerk’s Office. Listed attorneys do not necessarily represent who was involved when the case was disposed.

ASSAULT

  • Jose Luis Valenzuela, 41, was sentenced to two years in prison in an order adjudicating guilt Jan. 19 on a charge of assault of a family or household member by impeding breath or circulation. Judge John Smith approved the deal. Bruce Foster was the defense attorney and Dusty Gallivan was the prosecutor.
  • Jenna M. Bailey, 27, was sentenced to five years in prison in an order adjudicating guilt Jan. 20 on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Judge James Rush approved the deal. Gary Garrison was the defense attorney and Aurial Wood was the prosecutor.

  • Jamal Brown, 40, had two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon dismissed Feb. 6 and Feb. 13. Judge Stacy Trotter presided. Lawrence Barber was the defense attorney. The prosecuting attorney was not listed.

BURGLARY

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
