Jan. 27 Odessa police arrested 39-year-old David Paredes Gonzales and charged him with driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony. Officers responded Jan. 27 to 52nd Street and Northeast Loop 338 in reference to a rollover accident. Police made contact with the driver of the vehicle involved, identified as Gonzales. Officers found Gonzales to be intoxicated and placed him into custody after he failed field sobriety tests. Investigation revealed that Gonzales had two previous convictions out of Ector County for driving while intoxicated. Gonzales, 11524 W. 63rd St., was released Jan. 30 from the Ector County Detention Center on $15,000 bond.
