The Girls Scouts of the Desert Southwest Centennial Cookie Season has begun and Girl Scouts will be distributing cookies.
This year marks the movement-wide celebration of the 100th season of Girl Scouts selling cookies and to commemorate the banner year for the organization.
All of the net revenue raised through the Girl Scout Cookie program stays with the local GSDSW council and troops.

Military veterans are getting a special thank-you from Texas country musicians Josh Abbott Band this spring. JAB Cares, the band’s charitable initiative, will be flying active duty and veteran service members and their guests to San Diego for a live show at the House of Blues.
