WICHITA FALLS The UTPB softball team scored twice in the sixth inning and added four more runs in the seventh to earn a 6-0 victory against Midwestern State in Lone Star Conference play Saturday.
Adrian Berzoza had a pair of doubles in the victory, with Cindy Juarez and Samantha Rodriguez each adding two hits for the Falcons (2-11 overall, 1-2 Lone Star).
Cindy Juarez went the distance in the circle for UTPB for her first victory of the season, allowing just six hits and striking out one.
Midwestern State dropped to 8-7, 2-1.
