COLLEGE BASEBALL: Kasowski supplies strong start, No. 8 West Texas A&M beats UTPB

CANYON Marshall Kasowski threw six shutout innings and struck out 12 as the No. 8 West Texas A&M baseball team defeated UTPB 9-3 in a Lone Star Conference contest on Friday.

This marked the first Lone Star game for the Falcons (7-18 overall, 0-1). The Buffaloes (22-5, 4-1) scored the first nine runs of the contest. West Texas A&M’s Nick Canas finished with two hits and two RBIs, while Luis Amaro drove in two runs.

For the Falcons, Daniel Andrade and Chris Ortega each had an RBI.
