COLLEGE BASEBALL: Cameron uses late-inning lift to defeat UTPB

The Cameron baseball team extended its slim lead with a seven-run seventh inning to take a 13-3 victory over UTPB in a Lone Star Conference contest on Friday at Roden Field.

Ryan Banwart supplied a game-high three hits and four RBIs for the Aggies (21-13 overall, 2-5 Lone Star). Gaige Vines picked up the win on the mound after he pitched six inning, allowed three unearned runs and struck out three.

Tyler Houlihan went 2 for 5 for the Falcons (7-22, 0-5). Logan Owens suffered the loss as he gave up three earned runs on two hits and walked seven over three innings.
