Broadway show features illusions, escapesPerformance set for Monday at Wagner Noël

A group of performers including seven illusionists will bring the show “The Illusionists: Live From Broadway” to the Wagner Noël on Monday.
This mind-blowing spectacular showcases seven of the most incredible illusionists who have broken box office records around the world with a mix of thrills, sophisticated magic and even some daring escapes.
Their website states that audiences of all ages can enjoy the acts of grand illusion, levitation, mind-reading, disappearance and a full view water torture escape.
Escapologist Andrew Basso holds his breath for more than four minutes while attempting to escape from his underwater cell.
The performers take their cue from the showmanship of the great illusionists of the past — such as Harry Houdini — and pair it with contemporary aesthetics in the set and costume design.
Collectively, the performers have been seen by millions of people around the world, and this production showcases their talents.
The show was reviewed by the New York Times as “a high-tech magic extravaganza” and by the Toronto Star as “dazzles seven times over! Thrilling! Astonishing! A dizzying display of magic.”
