The UTPB women’s soccer program added Elmer Zelaya as an assistant coach, the school announced Thursday.
Zelaya was the Director of Operations for the men’s program at Southern Methodist University, helping the Mustangs win two American Athletic Conference regular-season crowns and three AAC Tournament titles.
He graduated from Mississippi State in 2015 and holds a U.S. Soccer Federation National “D” license.
