The Odessa College women’s golf team will be competing in the NJCAA National Championship tournament this week.
The tournament will begin on Tuesday and finish up on Friday at the Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Garden City, Kan.
The Lady Wrangler golf team, which is in its first year of existence, qualified for the national tournament after shooting +35 over three rounds to finish second at the NJCAA Southwest District Championship last month in Sun City West, Ariz.
At the district championship, Odessa College had three golfers finish in the top 15 with Claudia Alnajim Revuelta finishing tied for fourth, Rylie Rodriguez placing seventh and Ailsa Brannock finishing tied for 13th.
