Alexus Quaadman was named the Lone Star Conference women’s basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
This is the first time that she has earned the honor.
Quaadman helped UTPB to a pair of Lone Star Conference wins this past week as she pulled down 11 rebounds with four assists in a 71-61 win over Oklahoma Christian on Dec. 7.
She then had 16 points and 17 rebounds in a 70-68 win over Arkansas-Fort Smith on Dec. 9.
This was the fourth straight game in double-digit rebounds and her fifth double-double of the season.
UTPB is 7-2 overall, 3-1 in Lone Star Conference play.
