UTPB’s Alexus Quaadman was named this week’s Lone Star Conference women’s basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
It is the third time this season that she has earned the honor.
Quaadman had another big week for UTPB as she compiled 13 points, eight rebounds and hit two 3-pointers in a 70-65 win over West Texas A&M last Thursday at Falcon Dome.
Against Lubbock Christian, she had seven points, 12 rebounds and two blocked shots in a 57-53 win over Lubbock Christian on Saturday.
It was the Falcons’ first win over Lubbock Christian in program history.
The Falcons are 19-3 overall, 14-2 in conference play.
