The UTPB women’s basketball team defeated West Texas A&M for a second time this season in a 70-65 victory in Lone Star Conference play Thursday at Falcon Dome.
The Falcons moved to 18-3 overall, 13-2 in conference play while the Lady Buffs fell to 13-10, 8-7.
UTPB was led in scoring by Makayla Bingley’s 17 points while Alexus Quaadman had 13 and Andreea Mancha finished with 12.
West Texas A&M was led in scoring by Nyalam Thabach’s 14 points while Karley Motschenbacher had 13 and Azia Himeur finished with 12.
The Falcons will next face Lubbock Christian at 1 p.m. Saturday at Falcon Dome.
