WOMEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL: UTPB defeats TAMUK on the road

KINGSVILLE The UTPB women’s basketball team got back on track with a 77-60 win over Texas A&M-Kingsville in Lone Star Conference play in Saturday’s road game.

The Falcons were led in scoring by Kamryn Lemon who had 18 while Alexus Quaadman scored 15 and Andreea Mancha finished with 14.

UTPB improved to 5-2 overall, 1-1 in conference while Texas A&M-Kingsville now sits at 4-5, 0-2.

The Falcons will next face Oklahoma Christian at 5:15 p.m. Thursday at Falcon Dome.

They’ll remain at home this week when the Falcons go up against Arkansas-Fort Smith at 1 p.m. Saturday at home.
