FRISCO The UTPB women’s basketball team defeated Angelo State 71-51 in the quarterfinals of the Lone Star Conference tournament Friday at the Comerica Center.
The Falcons (23-6) advance to the semifinals where they will face the winner of UT-Tyler-West Texas A&M at 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
UTPB was led in scoring by Kamryn Lemon’s 17 points while Andreea Mancha had 15and Alexus Quaadman finished with 13.
Angelo State (20-12) was led in scoring by Tayjanna McGhee-Pleasant’s 13 points.
